version is specifically designed for firewall construction.
Flame
Fighter Tape has passed the full scale tests for one-hour fire rated,
vertically or horizontally hung wall systems, on both wood and steel
stud construction with fire rated gypsum board.
Flame Fighter Fire Tape is now approved for both Walls AND Ceilings.
Can be used on vertical or horizontal joints of interior, non
load-bearing, one-hour fire resistance-rated steel and wood framed
assemblies
